Pia Christmas-Møller
Pia Christmas-Møller (born 21 January 1961) is a Danish politician, a member of parliament from 1987 until 2011. She represented the Conservative People's Party from 1987 until 2007 and led her party between 1998 and 1999. From 2007 until 2011 she sat as an independent. Christmas-Møller has served as a member of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe since 2002, and as a member of the Danish delegation to the Nordic Council from January 2000 to November 2001, and then again from October 2008 to date. She is also a member of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE), of which she was elected a vice-president in 2005 and re-elected in July 2008. Bendt Bendtsen
Bendt Bendtsen (born 25 March 1954) is a Danish politician who served as Member of the European Parliament (MEP) from 2009 until 2019. He was the leader of the Conservative People's Party from 1999 to 2008, and served as Minister of Economic and Business Affairs. As a MEP, he was part of the European People's Party. Before being elected, Bendtsen worked as a member of Odense's police force; he became a member of the Odense City Council in 1989, and he was Vice-Chairman of the Odense Criminal Police Association from 1989 to 1992. The Folketing ( , ), also known as the Parliament of Denmark or the Danish Parliament in English, is the unicameral national legislature (parliament) of the Kingdom of Denmark — Denmark proper together with the Faroe Islands and Greenland. Established in 1849, the Folketing was the lower house of the bicameral parliament called the Rigsdag until 1953; the upper house was the Landsting.
