Ward (Vietnam)
Ward () is a type of third tier subdivision of Vietnam. It has equal status with township and commune. As of 13 December 2023, Vietnam has a total of 1,780 wards. According to hierarchy of Vietnamese administrative unit, Wards are subordinate to urban district, city or town as the Third Tier unit. Phu Bai International Airport
Phu Bai International Airport is located just south of the central city of Huế, the former capital of Vietnam. History On October 30, 2005, Phú Bài Airport officially welcomed its first international flight since it was allowed to receive international flights by Vietnamese government in 2002. The charter flight operated by Austrian Airlines carried Austrian tourists from Luang Prabang, Laos. On May 24, 2007, Changi Airports International (CAI) announced that it had signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the People's Committee of Thua Thien Hue Province for the development of Phu Bai–Hue International Airport. This MOU was signed as part of the Vietnamese government's launch of a tourism master plan to develop Thua Thien Hue Province as the next international tourism destination of Vietnam. A district-level town () is a type of second tier subdivision of Vietnam. District-level towns along with urban districts, districts, municipal cities, and provincial cites have equal status. Also by virtue of Decree No. 42/2009/ND-CP, towns are officially classified into Class-3 or Class-4. Hương Thủy is a district-level town (''thị xã'') of Huế in the North Central Coast region of Vietnam. As of 2020 the town had a population of 95,299. The town covers an area of 426.96 km². Köppen Climate Classification
The Köppen climate classification divides Earth climates into five main climate groups, with each group being divided based on patterns of seasonal precipitation and temperature. Phu Bai Combat Base
Phu Bai Combat Base (also known as Phu Bai Airfield and Camp Hochmuth) is a former U.S. Army and U.S. Marine Corps base south of Huế, in central Vietnam. History 1962–1965 The Army Security Agency, operating under cover of the 3rd Radio Research Unit (3rd RRU), established a radio facility at Phu Bai in 1963, 12 km southeast of Huế on Highway 1. The operational unit was later redesignated as the 8th Radio Research Field Station (8th RRFS). 1965–1967 On 10 April 1965 Task Force Alpha of 2nd Battalion, 3rd Marines was landed by helicopter from Da Nang Air Base to secure the area.
