Phillip Christopher Jupitus (, ''Given name#Name at birth, né'' Swan; born 25 June 1962) is a retired English stand-up comedy, stand-up and Improv comedy teacher, improv comedian, actor, performance poetry, performance poet, cartoonist and podcaster. Phillip Earl Niblock (October 2, 1933 – January 8, 2024) was an American composer, filmmaker, and videographer. Phillip Charles George Jones (born 25 January 1974) is a New Zealand basketball coach and former player. He played in Australia, Finland, and Italy, but is best known for his 22 seasons with the Nelson Giants in the New Zealand National Basketball League (NZNBL). He also played for 14 years for the New Zealand national team. As of 2025, he serves as assistant coach of the Nelson Giants. Phillip D. Kline (born December 31, 1959) is a former American attorney who served as a Kansas state legislator, district attorney of Johnson County, and Kansas Attorney General. Kline, a member of the Republican Party, lost re-election as attorney general to Democratic challenger Paul J. Morrison in 2006. Kline was appointed by the Republican County Central Committee to fill the vacancy left by Morrison's election as Kansas Attorney General, becoming district attorney of Johnson County on the day he left office as attorney general and essentially switching jobs with Morrison. Kline then ran for a full term as district attorney, but was defeated in the 2008 Republican primary. Phill Wilson
Phill Wilson is an American activist who founded the Black AIDS Institute in 1999, and served as its CEO, and is a prominent African-American HIV/AIDS activist. Career Phill Wilson's career in activism started after he and his partner, Chris Brownlie, were both diagnosed with HIV in the early 1980s. This was at a time when the AIDS epidemic was just starting in the United States, and Wilson has said he did not feel like anyone was bringing together the black community to solve the problem. The country believed that AIDS was a gay disease, and outreach was primarily focused in white, gay communities, when Wilson believed that AIDS affected the black community much more. When his partner died of an HIV-related illness in 1989, Wilson channeled his grief into activism. In 1981, Wilson was already involved in the gay community in Chicago through sports activities and social activities. Phillip Nixon (13 March 1956 – 9 August 2013) was an English darts player from Ferryhill, County Durham. He was the runner up in the 2007 BDO World Darts Championship in his first appearance. Career Before the 2007 BDO World Darts Championship, Nixon's best performances came in reaching the quarter-finals of the 2002 Winmau World Masters and the semi-final of the 2004 British Open. After 20 years of attempting, 2007 was the first year Nixon had managed to qualify for the BDO World Darts Championship. Phill Davies (born April 30, 1981, in Chester), is a former England Under 19's & 21's rugby union player who ended his career in 2011 at Section Paloise a French rugby union club from Pau, Pyrénées-Atlantiques currently competing in Rugby Pro D2. Phill Davies also played for Harlequins and Sale Sharks in the Guinness Premiership, as well as Aviron Bayonnais in The French Top14 competition. Phill Grimshaw
Phill Grimshaw (1 February 1950 – 27 July 1998) was an English typeface designer and calligrapher who designed dozens of fonts for Letraset and the International Typeface Corporation (ITC) in the 1980s and 1990s. Biography Grimshaw was born on 1 February 1950 in Bolton. He studied art at Bolton College, where he was taught by the typographer Tony Forster, with whom he would later become close friends. Forster encouraged Grimshaw to apply to London's Royal College of Art (RCA). Grimshaw completed a master's degree between 1972 and 1975 at the RCA, where he met David Hockney and John Gorham. He returned to Lancashire after graduating from the RCA and opened a commercial lettering studio focusing on both typography and calligraphy. Phill Hartsfield (August 16, 1931 – May 20, 2010) was a Southern California sword and knifemaker based in Garden Grove who is noted for popularizing the chisel ground blade in the western world. Hartsfield's designs have influenced other knifemakers, primarily Ernest Emerson. Early life Hartsfield joined the US Navy at age17 and served as a sonar technician. After serving four years, he was discharged and worked as a television repairman. After six months of working for a repair shop, Hartsfield opened his own repairshop at the age of 22 while making knives part-time. In 1977, he closed his TV repair business and became a full-time knifemaker. Knife making Hartsfield's blades are Japanese-influenced, each one was hand ground from various kinds of tool steel, including 01 and A2.
