Peštan
Peštan () is a river of Serbia and right tributary of the Kolubara river near Vreoci. Its length is . It belongs to the Black Sea basin. Geography The river originates on the northern slopes of the Bukulja mountain. It was named after its very sandy riverbed (Serbian ''pesak'', "sand"). Peštan used to be long, and originally flew into the Kolubara at the village of Draževac (Obrenovac), Draževac in the municipality of Obrenovac. Due to the vast works on the lignite surface mining in the Kolubara basin, the river was shortened to , partially channeled and rerouted. The villages located on the river include Rudovci, Mali Crljeni, Burovo, Zeoke (Lazarevac), Zeoke and Baroševac. Despite not being a major river, and with all the Land development, amelioration works in its basin, Peštan remained a seasonally flooding river, especially in spring, damaging agricultural fields and settlements in its watershed. They are damned for the purpose of generating hydroelectric power or as water reservoirs, creating most of the lakes of Serbia. Drainage basins All rivers in Serbia belong to the drainage basins of three seas: Black Sea, Adriatic Sea or Aegean Sea. The largest in area, Black Sea drainage basin, covers an area of 81,261 km2 or 92% of the territory of Serbia. Kolubara
The Kolubara ( sr-cyr, Колубара, ) is a long river in western Serbia; it is an eastern, right tributary to the Sava river. Due to the many long tributaries creating a branchy system within the river's drainage basin, the short Kolubara drains relatively large area of . It is part of the larger Black Sea drainage. The river is not navigable, but its valley is very important for transportation. Here are located Belgrade-Valjevo road, parts of Belgrade-Šabac road, Ibarska magistrala (Highway of Ibar) and the Belgrade-Bar railway. Obrenovac ( sr-cyr, Обреновац, ) is a municipality of the city of Belgrade. According to the 2022 census results, the municipality has a population of 68,882 inhabitants, while the urban area has 25,380 inhabitants. The old name for Obrenovac was Palež.
