Petronije Zimonjić
Petronije "Pera" Zimonjić ( sr-Cyrl, Петроније "Пера" Зимоњић; 31 December 1942 – 9 January 2021) was a Serbian professional basketball strength and conditioning coach. Coaching career In the 1978–79 season, Zimonjić was a strength and conditioning coach for the Crvena zvezda women's team under head coach Strahinja Alagić that won the FIBA Women's European Champions Cup (now EuroLeague Women). Between 1992 and 1994, Zimonjić was a strength and conditioning coach for the Crvena zvezda men's team under head coach Vladislav Lučić that won two National titles, 1992–93 and 1993–94. Later, in the 2010–11 season, he was a strength and conditioning coach for the Zvezda under head coach Mihailo Uvalin. Zimonjić worked as a strength and conditioning coach for OKK Beograd, Beobanka, and Partizan. He joined Partizan in November 2000. Strength And Conditioning Coach
A strength and conditioning coach (also known as an S&C coach) is a physical performance professional who uses exercise prescription to improve the performance of competitive Athlete, athletes or Sports club, athletic teams. This is achieved through the combination of strength training, aerobic conditioning, and other methods. Unlike an athletic trainer, a strength and conditioning coach is focused primarily on sport performance. The coach helps athletes with injury prevention, through strengthening and coaching of movement mechanics within a sport. While a personal trainer may work with individuals of all fitness levels and focus on health or fitness, strength and conditioning coaches focus on competitive athletes and improving performance in a specific sport. YUBA League
The YUBA League was the top-tier men's professional basketball league in Serbia and Montenegro (previously FR Yugoslavia). Founded in 1992 and folded in 2006, it was run by the Basketball Federation of Serbia and Montenegro. The name ''YUBA League'' (Yugoslav Basketball Association League) was used in Serbia and Montenegro until 2006. It consisted of the first-stage "First League", and the second-stage "Super League", with each having their own men's and women's divisions. The Florida Atlantic Owls men's basketball team represents Florida Atlantic University and competes in the American Athletic Conference of NCAA Division I college basketball. Their home games are played on the Abessinio Court in the Eleanor R. Baldwin Arena on the school's Boca Raton, Florida campus.
