Petra Krištúfková
Petra Krištúfková (born 8 April 1977 in Bratislava) is a Slovak politician. She served as a member of the National Council from 2016 to 2023. Life Krištúfková attended a Commerce Academy in Bratislava but did not graduate from high school due to becoming pregnant at the age of 17 with the mafia boss Róbert Dinič. She eventually did graduate high school in 2002. Following the killing of Dinič, Krištúfková was involved with other prominent mobsters Peter Havaši, Libor Jakšík and Juraj Ondrejčák. Due to the tendency of her romantic partners to die or become imprisoned in young age, Krištúfková became known as the "black widow of Slovak underworld". In 2019, Krištúfková graduated in Environmental Protection at the University of Central Europe. Her final thesis was later found to be entirely plagiarized. 2020 Slovak Parliamentary Election
Parliamentary elections were held in Slovakia on 29 February 2020 to elect all 150 members of the National Council. The populist Ordinary People and Independent Personalities–NOVA–Christian Union–Change from Below (OĽaNO–NOVA–KÚ–ZZ) party emerged as the largest parliamentary group, winning 53 seats. The ruling coalition comprising Direction – Social Democracy (Smer), the Slovak National Party (SNS), and Most–Híd, led by Prime Minister Peter Pellegrini of Smer, won only 38, with both the SNS and Most–Híd losing their parliamentary representation. Marián Kočner
Marian Kočner (born 17 May 1963) is a Slovak businessman and convicted criminal. With business dealings mostly in the spheres of risk investment, financial development and property, his name appeared in leaked police documents known as the "mafia lists" in 2005, of a list of people suspected of involvement in organized crime and their vehicles, for use of police patrols. Since 10 December 2019 he has been included in the global Magnitsky sanctions list. On 27 February 2020, Kočner was sentenced to 19 years in prison for forging $75 million worth of promissory notes to siphon money from Markíza. Michal Šimečka
Michal Šimečka (born 10 May 1984) is a Slovak politician, journalist, and researcher, who served as a Vice-President of the European Parliament between 2022 and 2023. He also became a Member of the European Parliament between 2019 and 2023. In 2020, Šimečka was elected vice-president of the European political group Renew Europe.
