Petr Evgenyevich Yan (; born 11 February 1993) is a Russian professional mixed martial arts, mixed martial artist. He competes in the Bantamweight (MMA), Bantamweight division of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), where he is a former UFC Bantamweight Championship, UFC Bantamweight Champion. Yan formerly fought in Absolute Championship Berkut where he is a former Absolute Championship Berkut#Bantamweight Championship, ACB Bantamweight Champion. As of June 10, 2025, he is #3 in the List of current UFC fighters#Rankings, UFC bantamweight rankings. Early life and master of sport in boxing Yan was born to a father of mixed Chinese people, Chinese (paternal) and Georgians, Georgian-Russians, Russian (maternal) descent and a Russian mother.
