Petite France, Gapyeong
Petite France (쁘띠프랑스) is a French-style theme park that was constructed in July 2008 in Gyeonggi Province, South Korea.It consists of a theme park themed on the novel The Little Prince, a memorial to Saint-Exupéry, a gallery, an exhibition of French houses, and various shops, and has various performances such as music box demonstrations, puppet theatre orgel, and magical mime shows. The organisation is run by the castle youth retreat centre. Mime Artist
A mime artist, or simply mime (from Greek , , "imitator, actor"), is a person who uses ''mime'' (also called ''pantomime'' outside of Britain), the acting out of a story through body motions without the use of speech, as a theatrical medium or as a performance art. In earlier times, in English, such a performer would typically be referred to as a mummer. Miming is distinguished from silent comedy, in which the artist is a character in a film or skit without sound. Gapyeong County
Gapyeong County is a county in Gyeonggi Province, South Korea. It was the scene of the Battle of Kapyong, a major battle of the Korean War. Administrative Region and Language Gapyeong County has one eup and five myeon, and its population is 62,448 with 29,212 households based on resident registration at the end of December 2016, with an area of 843.6 km2. About 31.6 percent of the population lives in Gapyeong-eup, while 23.1 percent live in Cheongpyeong-myeon. Tourism Gapyeong is known for its natural environment, and borders the mountainous province of Gangwon on the east. The north branch of the Han River flows through the area.
