Peter Zoïs
Peter Zoïs (born 21 April 1978) is a retired Australian footballer and manager Victorian Premier League side Oakleigh Cannons. Career Zois represented all of the Victorian State teams at junior level before receiving a scholarship at the Victorian Institute of Sport playing in the former National Youth League. Before making his move overseas he played a season with South Melbourne in the former National Soccer League. He also spent a short spell at Cardiff City, being brought in on a trial period due to an injury to Jon Hallworth. His only match for the Bluebirds came against Rotherham United which ended in a 2–2 draw, but an erratic performance led then manager Frank Burrows to cancel his trial spell the next day. He moved to the Netherlands, joining NAC Breda in 1999–2000, which gained promotion to the Eredivisie after one season in the Dutch second division. The KNVB Beker (; ), branded as the TOTO KNVB Beker for sponsorship reasons, is a competition in the Netherlands organised by the Royal Dutch Football Association (KNVB) since 1898. It was based on the format of the English FA Cup. Outside the Netherlands, it is often referred to as the Dutch Cup. The UEFA Intertoto Cup (from , "between" and , " betting pool"),Most precisely, from ( football pool); cf. originally called the International Football Cup, was a summer football competition between European clubs. The competition was discontinued after the 2008 tournament. The tournament was founded in 1961–62, but was only taken over by UEFA in 1995. Initially, the tournament ended with a single champion, who received the Intertoto Cup. Starting in 1967, the tournament ended with a number of group winners (7 to 14 winners), who received cash prizes. Frank Burrows
Frank Burrows (30 January 1944 – 24 November 2021) was a Scottish football player and manager who played as a central defender. Life and career Frank Burrows began his football career at Scottish club Raith Rovers. In 1965, he moved south to England and joined Scunthorpe United. Impressive performances as a defender for Scunthorpe led to him being signed by Swindon Town F.C. for the 1968–69 season as a replacement for the departing Mel Nurse. Burrows was a major factor in helping Swindon to their most successful ever season in which they won promotion and the League Cup. Burrows played alongside team captain Stan Harland in the middle of a defence that conceded just 35 goals in 46 League matches. He went on to make over 350 appearances for Swindon. Jonathan Geoffrey Hallworth (born 26 October 1965) is an English former professional footballer who played as a goalkeeper. Club career Hallworth began his career as a trainee at Ipswich Town before signing a professional contract. During his time at the club he spent time on loan at Swindon Town, Bristol Rovers, where he made his professional debut, and Fulham before returning to become first choice goalkeeper until he was displaced by Craig Forrest. In 1989, he joined Oldham Athletic in a deal worth £75,000. He went on to spend the majority of his career at Oldham and was the club's first choice goalkeeper for most of his eight years there.
