Petar Čočoroski (Anglicized: Petar Chochoroski; ; born March 18, 1983), is a Macedonian basketball coach. He serves as a head coach for the Crn Drim of the Macedonian First League. Coaching career Čočoroski was a head coach for the Macedonian Second League club Crn Drim from Struga Struga ( ; , sq-definite, Struga) is a town and popular tourist destination situated in the south-western region of North Macedonia, lying on the shore of Lake Ohrid. Macedonian First League (basketball)
The Macedonian First League (, ''Makedonska prva liga'') is the top-tier basketball competition in the Republic of North Macedonia organized by the Basketball Federation of North Macedonia. Until 1992 it was called Macedonian Republic League after which it was transformed into top division level Macedonian Basketball First League. After the transformation, teams from the dissolved Yugoslav Federal Leagues (MZT Skopje and Rabotnički) joined the Macedonian First League. Basketball coaching is the act of directing and strategizing the behavior of a basketball team or individual basketball player. Basketball coaching typically encompasses the improvement of individual and team offensive and defensive skills, as well as overall physical conditioning. KK Crn Drim Green Mobile () is a Macedonian basketball club based in Struga, North Macedonia. History Crn Drim as a club based in Struga, is famous as one of the most popular clubs in Southwest part of Macedonia. During the last decades it has promoted huge number of young talents. Their first appearance in first tier was in 2003–2004 season, when KK Ohrid 98 refused the offer to get the wild card to compete in First League, and Crn Drim filled the place. In their first season in first tier, they changed the name to MM Koledz because of sponsorship of the fellow college and they finished on 7th place in the regular season and secured place for the next season. The North Macedonia men's national basketball team () represents North Macedonia in international basketball and is controlled by the Basketball Federation of North Macedonia. The FIBA U16 EuroBasket is the new name for the FIBA U16 European Championship, originally known as the FIBA European Championship for Cadets.
