Persatuan Sepakbola Indonesia Kabupaten Tangerang ( 'Indonesian Football Association of Tangerang'), commonly known as Persita is an Indonesian professional football club based in Tangerang, Banten, Indonesia. The club currently competes in the Liga 1. Their nicknames are ''Pendekar Cisadane'' (Cisadane Knight) and ''Ayam Wareng'' (The Fierce Rooster). Persita Tangerang finished as a runner-up of the 2019 Liga 2 season. History Persita was first formed in the city of Tangerang on 19 April 1940. It only became an official club after being recognized by the PSSI on 9 September 1953 as their member. In the Liga Indonesia Premier Division era, they were relegated in the 1998–99 Liga Indonesia Premier Division season but got promoted in the next season and clinched the 2000 First Division title. Cisadane River
The Cisadane River is a long river in northern West Java, Indonesia. Note that the prefixed syllable "Ci" means river, so to avoid tautology the true translation is "Sadane River". The river has its source at Mount Pangrango and passes through Bogor and Tangerang before flowing to the Java Sea. The rivers in Banten, the westernmost province of Java, run roughly parallel to each other. The main ones are the Peteh, called the Banten on the lower reaches near the city of Kota Banten, the Ujung, which enters the sea at Pontang, the Durian, which enters the sea at Tanara, the Manceuri, and the Sadane. 2011–12 Liga Indonesia Premier Division
The 2011–12 Liga Indonesia Premier Division season is the seventeenth edition of Liga Indonesia Premier Division since its establishment in 1994. The competition is managed by PT Liga Indonesia (LI). This season is the first season of Liga Indonesia Premier Division organized by LI without authorization from PSSI as it has decided to appoint the new PT Liga Prima Indonesia Sportindo (LPIS) to organize the competition. It is then recognized by PSSI breakaway leadership under La Nyalla Matalatti. The participant initially consists of 30 clubs, later reduced to 26 clubs, and finally reduced to only 22 club, divided into two groups. The fixtures were released on 13 December 2011. Ambrizal Umanailo
Ambrizal Umanailo (born 12 June 1996) is an Indonesian professional footballer who plays as a winger for Liga 1 club Persita Tangerang. Ryuji Utomo Prabowo (born 1 July 1995) is an Indonesian professional footballer who plays for Liga 1 club Persita Tangerang. He plays mainly at centre-back but can also operate as a defensive midfielder. Indomilk Arena (formerly Benteng Taruna Stadium) is a multi-purpose stadium in Kelapa Dua, Tangerang Regency, Banten, Indonesia.
