People’s Writer Of Azerbaijan
People's Writer of Azerbaijan ( Azerbaijani: ''Xalq yazıçısı)'' is the honorary title granted to the distinguished writers of Azerbaijan for their contribution to the development of Azerbaijani literature. Assignment The honorary title "People's Writer of Azerbaijan" was established by Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated May 22, 1998, along with some other titles. The President of Azerbaijan confers the honorary title on his initiative, as well as on the proposal of the National Assembly and the Cabinet of Ministers. The title is awarded only to citizens of Azerbaijan. According to the decree, the honorary title of "People's Writer of Azerbaijan" cannot be awarded to the same person repeatedly. A person awarded an honorary title may be deprived of the title in case of misconduct. Persons awarded the honorary title "People's Writer of Azerbaijan" also receive a certificate and a badge of the honorary title of the Republic of Azerbaijan. The badge of h ...

Chingiz Akif oğlu Abdullayev (; born 7 April 1959 in Baku) is an Azerbaijani writer, Secretary of the Union of Azerbaijani Writers. Suleyman Huseyn oglu Rahimov (; 22 March 1900 – 11 October 1983) was an Azerbaijani and Soviet writer, novelist, prosaist and politician. He was a member and chairman of the Union of Azerbaijani Writers. Suleyman Rahimov was a prominent representative of the modern Azerbaijani literature. Aziza Mammed qyzy Jafarzade (December 29, 1921, in Baku, Azerbaijan – September 4, 2003) () was an Azerbaijani writer and professor of philology. She was an expert on the history of Azerbaijani literature. Life Aziza Jafarzadeh was born on December 29, 1921, in Baku. Mirza Ibrahimov ( Azerbaijani: Mirzə İbrahimov) (15 October 1911, Eyvaq, Sarab – 17 December 1993, Baku) was a Soviet and Azerbaijani writer, playwright, state and public figure. Biography Mirza Ibrahimov was born in the village of Eyvaq in northwestern Iran, in the present-day Sarab County, 11 km south of Duzduzan. In 1918, he moved with his father to Baku. Elmira Akhundova (born 26 May 1953) is an Azerbaijani writer, publicist and politician. She has been a member of the Association of Azerbaijani Writers since 1983. Elchin Ilyas oglu Afandiyev () is an Azerbaijani writer, professor and politician who served as Deputy Prime Minister of Azerbaijan from 1993 to 2018.
