Assimina Pelegri
Assimina A. (Mina) Pelegri (born 1968) is a Greek-American aerospace engineer and materials scientist whose research involves the use of the finite element method to model and study composite materials and biological soft tissue. She is a professor at Rutgers University, where she chairs the Department of Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering. Education and career Pelegri was born in 1968. After earning a diploma in metallurgy at the National Technical University of Athens in 1992, Pelegri went to Georgia Tech for graduate studies in Aerospace Engineering, supported by a Fulbright Fellowship. She earned a master's degree in aerospace engineering in 1994, and completed a Ph.D. degree in 1997, also completing a degree in the management of technology at the same time through Georgia Tech's Scheller College of Business. Jean Pélégri
Jean Pélégri (20 June 1920 – 24 September 2003) was a writer and professor of literature. Of French descent, he was born in Algeria, but left as part of the diaspora of French colonists referred to as ''pieds-noirs'' following the Algerian War. He was a friend of many Algerian writers (such as Mohammed Dib and Kateb Yacine) and, like Jean Sénac, Pélégri considered himself to be one of them; he always saw himself as an "Algerian at heart". He supplemented his novels' prefaces with artwork from his painter friends Baya (artist), Baya, Abdallah Benanteur, Mohammed Khadda and Jean de Maisonseul. Pélégri also assisted on the film adaptation of his novel ''Les Oliviers de la justice'' as screenwriter, dialogue writer and actor. The movie won the Cinema and Television Writers Award at the 1962 Cannes Film Festival. Maria Teresa Pelegrí I Marimón
Maria Teresa Pelegrí i Marimón (4 March 1907– 18 March 1996) was a Spanish composer. She was born in Barcelona and studied piano as a child. When she married, she gave up her musical activities, but after twenty years renewed her interest. She studied piano with Joan Gibert and Carles Pellicer, counterpoint and fugue with Josep Poch and composition with Josep Soler. She also took classes on twentieth-century music with Carles Guinovart. Personal papers (scores) of Maria Teresa Pelegrí are preserved in the Biblioteca de Catalunya. Xavier Pelegrí
Xavier Pelegrí Durán (born 1 June 1981) is a Spanish retired footballer who played as a central defender. Club career Born in Barcelona, Catalonia, Pelegrí made his senior debut with Real Valladolid's reserves in Tercera División. He first arrived in Segunda División B in the summer of 2002, joining CP Cacereño after a short stint at UE Cornellà. In July 2003, Pelegrí moved to UE Lleida also in the third level. He appeared in 27 games in his first season, helping his team promote to Segunda División after a three-year absence. Pelegrí played his first match as a professional on 5 September 2004, coming on as a late substitute in a 2–0 away win against Cádiz CF. He contributed with 20 appearances in the 2005–06 campaign, which finished in relegation.
