Pekka Vehkonen (born 27 May 1964 in Helsinki) is a Finnish former professional motocross racer. He competed in the Motocross World Championships from 1982 to 1993. Pekka Tarjanne (1937–2010) was a scientist and politician who served as the chairman of the Liberal Party and minister of transport in Finland. He also headed the International Telecommunication Union from 1989 and 1999. Early life and education Tarjanne was born in Stockholm, Sweden, on 19 September 1937. His grandfather was one of the founders of the Liberal Party and served as the minister of interior. Pekka Salminen (11 August 1937 – 30 May 2024) was a Finnish Professor of Architecture and founder and a senior partner of PES-Architects, formed in 1968, in Helsinki, Finland. He was also the founder of Unije Workshop International UWI, and the Centre for Architecture and Urban Planning, formed in Unije, Croatia, in 1987. He received a BSc in architecture from Tampere Institute of Technology in 1960, and an MSc in architecture from Helsinki University of Technology, 1966. Pekka Rautakallio
Pekka Olavi "Rocky" Rautakallio (born July 25, 1953) is a Finnish former professional ice hockey defenceman and coach. He played 14 seasons in Finland's SM-sarja and SM-liiga between 1968 and 1987 for Porin Ässät (men's ice hockey), Ässät and HIFK (ice hockey), HIFK Helsinki, during which he was a five-time Finnish All-Star. Rautakallio was a member of Ässät's championship team that won the Kanada-malja in 1978. Veli Pekka Pyykkö (born 12 October 1941) is a Finnish academic. He was professor of Chemistry at the University of Helsinki.
