Pedro Hugo López
Pedro Hugo López (25 October 1927 – 26 October 1959) was a Chilean association football, footballer. He played in two matches for the Chile national football team in 1952. He was also part of Chile's squad for the 1949 South American Championship. Chile National Football Team
The Chile national football team (), nicknamed ''La Roja'' (), represents Chile in men's international Association football, football competitions and is controlled by the Football Federation of Chile, Federación de Fútbol de Chile (), which was established in 1895. The 1949 South American Championship was the 21st edition of the Copa América, the main national team association football, football competition in South America. It was held in, and won by, Brazil. Paraguay finished as runner-up while Argentina national football team, Argentina withdrew from the tournament. This achievement ended a 27-year streak without official titles for the Brazilians.
