Pedro Fernández (Argentine Footballer)
Pedro Nahuel Fernández (born 5 April 1987) is an Argentine professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for Alvorado. Career Fernández made his professional debut in June 2009 with Chacarita Juniors in Primera B Nacional, he played the full ninety minutes in a draw with San Martín (SJ). One more appearance followed in 2008–09, prior to none in 2009–10 and 2010–11 but two came in 2011–12 as Chacarita were relegated to Primera B Metropolitana. In the third tier, Fernández made eight appearances. In June 2013, Fernández completed a loan move to fellow Primera B Metropolitana team Villa Dálmine. Nineteen appearances followed in 2013–14 and 2014, the latter ended in promotion to Primera B Nacional; where Chacarita were also promoted. 2015 Primera B Nacional
The 2015 Argentine Primera B Nacional season was the 30th season of Argentine second division, with a total of 22 competing teams. It began 14 February and ended 14 November 2015. Although there was some use of a different name earlier in the year, the AFA has consistently used the Primera B Nacional moniker in releases of late. Competition format The league's format has changed from last season. This year there will be twenty-two teams which will play each other twice for a total of forty-two matches. In November 2014, the AFA announced two teams from this season will be promoted to the Primera División. It was later reported that the champion will be promoted directly and positions 2-5 will compete in the "Torneo Reducido" for the second place after the regular season. Primera Nacional (usually called simply Nacional B, (English "National B Division"), and known as Primera B Nacional until the 2019–20 season) is the second division of the Argentine football league system. The competition is made up of 38 teams. It is played by teams from all over the country. Clubs from Buenos Aires surroundings, as well as some from Santa Fe Province, are promoted from or relegated to the Primera B Metropolitana ("Metropolitan B Division") while for teams from the other provinces the Torneo Federal A ("Federal A Tournament") is the next level down. The 2020 Argentine Primera Nacional, also known as the 2020 Campeonato de Transición Primera Nacional, was the 36th season of the Primera Nacional, the second tier of Argentine football. The season began on 28 November 2020 and concluded on 31 January 2021. The competition was contested by the thirty-two teams that took part in the 2019–20 season, which was suspended and subsequently abandoned due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The 2019–20 Argentine Primera B Nacional, also known as the 2019–20 Primera Nacional, was the 35th season of the Primera B Nacional, the second tier of Argentine football. The season began on 15 August 2019 and was scheduled to end in May 2020. Thirty-two teams compete in the league, twenty-one returning from the 2018–19 season, four teams that were relegated from Primera División, two teams promoted from Federal A and five from B Metropolitana. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Argentine Football Association suspended the tournament on 17 March 2020. On 28 April 2020 AFA announced the abandonment of the competition as well as the culmination of the 2019–20 season in all of its leagues, with no clubs promoted or relegated. The 2018–19 Argentine Primera División – Superliga Argentina (officially the Superliga Quilmes Clásica for sponsorship reasons) was the 129 season of top-flight professional football in Argentina. The season began on 10 August 2018 and ended on 7 April 2019. Boca Juniors were the defending champions. Twenty-six teams competed in the league, twenty-four returning from the 2017–18 season and two promoted from the 2017–18 Primera B Nacional ( Aldosivi and San Martín (T)).
