Pearse Óg Gaelic Athletic Club ( ga, Na Piarsaigh Óga) is a Gaelic Athletic Association club in County Armagh, Northern Ireland. 'Na Piarsaigh Óga', which translates as 'the Young Pearses', takes its name from the Irish revolutionaries Pádraic and Willie Pearse. Pearse Óg Park ( ga, Páirc na Piarsagh Óga) is a Gaelic Athletic Association stadium in Armagh, Northern Ireland. Development of the Park In 2007 Pearse Óg GAC, a Gaelic football club in Armagh City, secured a 30-year lease on a site at Ballycrummy, on the western outskirts of the city. It has developed this area with a playing field the same size as Croke Park, training facilities, floodlighting and changing rooms. The club has plans to build an indoor sports hall costing £500k. Rónán Clarke
Rónán Clarke is an Irish Gaelic football manager and former player who represented Armagh. His club football career has been with Armagh city's Pearse Óg GAC. Ross Carr, the former Down manager, said: "Armagh have the best forward in the country in Rónán Clarke". Playing career Inter-county Clarke was called up to the Armagh senior panel at a young age and made his inter-county debut against Antrim in 2002. He made his Championship debut in May 2002. That year he helped Armagh win the Ulster Senior Football Championship as well as the county's first ever All-Ireland Senior Football Championship. Paul Grimley
Paul Grimley is the former manager of the Gaelic football team Armagh county. Grimley arrived at Armagh as Paddy O'Rourke's assistant, and remained in the role for a year before becoming manager following O'Rourke's resignation in July 2012. After two years in the role, Grimley resigned as Armagh manager on August 13, 2014, replaced by his former boss from Kildare, Kieran McGeeney. In an 'unprecedented' move, Grimley issued a public apology statement to the fans forum on the Armagh GAA's official website in 2013, following a four-point defeat to Cavan county in the Ulster championship. GAA GPA All Stars Awards
The Gaelic Athletic Association-Gaelic Players' Association All Stars Awards (often known simply as the All Stars) are awarded annually to the best player in each of the 15 playing positions in Gaelic football and hurling. Additionally, one player in each code is selected as Player of the Year. The awards were instituted in 1971. Since 2011 they have been presented jointly by the Gaelic Athletic Association and the representative body for inter-county players, the Gaelic Players Association. Ger Houlahan
Gerard "Ger" Houlahan is an Irish former Gaelic footballer who played at senior level for the Armagh county team from 1984 to 2000. He won two Ulster Senior Football Championship medals with the county and also won an All Star award. Houlahan played club football for Pearse Óg and won the Armagh Senior Football Championship on ? occasions with the club. He was a very prolific forward, particularly renowned for his goal-scoring ability. Houlahan was also a crowd favourite with the Armagh fans. He is known as one of Armagh's best ever players. The Armagh Junior Football Championship is an annual Gaelic football competition contested by lower-tier Armagh GAA clubs. The Armagh County Board of the Gaelic Athletic Association has organised it since 1925. The national media covers the competition. Andy Mallon (Irish ''Aindriu Ó Maoileoin'') is an Irish Gaelic footballer who plays at senior level for the Armagh county football team, Armagh county team.
