Paynes Bay, Barbados
Paynes Bay, sometimes called the "Platinum Coast", is located on the west coast of Barbados Barbados is an island country in the Lesser Antilles of the West Indies, in the Caribbean region of the Americas, and the most easterly of the Caribbean Islands. It occupies an area of and has a population of about 287,000 (2019 estimate .... Many locals believe that it is one of the island's best swimming beaches for both the calm seas of the Caribbean (in comparison to the strong south or east coast surf) and the colorful neighborhood. In recent years, Paynes Bay has experienced significant development, most recently by various foreign speculators who are in the process of constructing condominiums along the bay. Platinum Coast
The Platinum Coast is a stretch of powdery white sandy-beach located on the leeward side of Barbados. Located to the North of Holetown. Its area title has been broadened in more recent times to include much of the coastline of the parish of Saint James. The Platinum Coast is a spot consisting mostly of '' nouveau riche'' to the country of Barbados. Barbados
Barbados is an island country in the Lesser Antilles of the West Indies, in the Caribbean region of the Americas, and the most easterly of the Caribbean Islands. It occupies an area of and has a population of about 287,000 (2019 estimate). Its capital and largest city is Bridgetown. Inhabited by Kalinago people since the 13th century, and prior to that by other Amerindians, Spanish navigators took possession of Barbados in the late 15th century, claiming it for the Crown of Castile. Sandy Lane (resort)
Sandy Lane is a luxury five-star beachfront resort close to Holetown and Paynes Bay on the island of Barbados. Sandy Lane was opened in 1961 by Ronald Tree, a former British politician, as a luxury hotel and golf course on what had been a sugar plantation. In 1998, the hotel was put up for sale by Granada plc, and five Irish businessmen, including J. P. McManus, Dermot Desmond and John Magnier, bought it. The original resort was then demolished in a three-year, $450 million upgrade and renovation.
