Paweł Miesiąc (born 24 April 1985 in Poland) is a motorcycle speedway rider from Poland. Career Miesiąc has won the Team Speedway Junior World Championship, Team Under 21 World Champion title. Miesiąc rode in the Team Speedway Polish Championship from 2001 to 2021, riding for Stal Rzeszów (motorcycle speedway), Stal Rzeszów, Lokomotiv Daugavpils, Motor Lublin (speedway team), Motor Lublin, Kraków Speedway, Kraków, Kolejarz Opole and GKM Grudziądz. His surname ''Miesiąc'' means 'month' in Polish language. Stal Rzeszów (motorcycle Speedway)
Stal Rzeszów is a Polish motorcycle speedway club. The team currently competes in the Polish Speedway Second League (2. Liga) and have won the Team Speedway Polish Championship twice. History 1948 to 1959 The first speedway in Rzeszów was held at the Resovia stadium in 1948. The club made their league debut during the 1949 Polish speedway season under the name RTKM-Gwardia Rzeszów. As Stal Rzeszów the team returned to league action in 1955 Polish speedway season, 1955 and in 1956, two clubs from Rzeszów competed in the league, with Resovia (sports club), Resovia Rzeszów competing in addition to Stal. Towards the end of the 1950s the team won the Polish Speedway First League, second division twice in 1957 Polish speedway season, 1957 and 1959 Polish speedway season, 1959. The Poland national speedway team is the national motorcycle speedway team of Poland and is controlled by the Polish Motor Union ( PZM). They are one of the most successful speedway nations of all time. History The Polish speedway team participated in the inaugural Speedway World Team Cup, being seeded through to the final of the 1960 Speedway World Team Cup. The team were a major force in the opening decade of the tournament, winning the World Team Cup in 1961, 1965, 1966 and 1969, with only the Swedish team winning more World Cups. In the 1970s, the team continued to be one of the major forces in Eastern Europe and qualified for the World Team Cup final every year from 1970 to 1979.
