Paweł Bochniewicz (born 30 January 1996) is a Polish professional Association football, footballer who plays as a centre-back for Eredivisie club SC Heerenveen, Heerenveen and the Poland national football team, Poland national team. Club career Bochniewicz started his career in his hometown club, Wisłoka Dębica. In 2010, he joined the youth team of Stal Mielec. Two years later, his talent was spotted by S.S.D. Reggio Calabria, Reggina Calcio scouts and he moved to Italy. On 22 March 2014, he made his senior debut in Serie B, coming on as a substitute in the 66th minute against Empoli F.C., Empoli. On 6 June 2014, he joined Serie A club Udinese Calcio, Udinese. On 20 January 2018, Bochniewicz joined Ekstraklasa club Górnik Zabrze on loan, later signing for them permanently in July 2019. Sportclub Heerenveen (; West Frisian language, West Frisian: Sportklub It Hearrenfean) is a Dutch professional association football, football club from Heerenveen. They currently play in the Eredivisie, the top level of football in the Netherlands. The club is known for its Frisian nationalism, Frisian identity. History Sportclub Heerenveen was founded on 20 July 1920 in the town of Heerenveen, Friesland, as Athleta. It changed name twice, first to Spartaan and then to v.v. Heerenveen in 1922. While the Netherlands was German occupation of the Netherlands, occupied by Germany, Heerenveen won three successive North of the Netherlands championships, and following the end of World War II it went on to win the same title six times in a row; the club's dominance partly ascribed to the presence of Abe Lenstra.
