Pavel Kudrnáč
Pavel Kudrnáč (born 11 February 1974) is a former professional tennis player from the Czech Republic. Biography As a junior, Kudrnáč competed in the boys singles and doubles events at the 1992 French Open. He was a leading collegiate player during his time at Oklahoma State. In 1998 he topped the ITA rankings and was honoured with the Senior Player of the Year award. Kudrnáč, who comes from Plzeň, represented the Czech Republic in multiple editions of the Summer Universiade, most notably at the 1999 event, where he was a gold medalist in the men's doubles. On the professional tour he was a doubles specialist and regularly partnered fellow Czech Petr Kovačka. With the exception of his first tournament, the 1995 Prague Open with Petr Luxa, he played beside Kovačka in all of his ATP Tour appearances, which included making the semi-finals at San Marino in 2000. 2000 US Open – Men's Doubles
Lleyton Hewitt and Max Mirnyi defeated Ellis Ferreira and Rick Leach in the final, 6–4, 5–7, 7–6 to win the men's doubles tennis title at the 2000 US Open. It was their maiden major title. Alex O'Brien and Sébastien Lareau were the defending champions but chose not to participate with each other. Sébastien partnered with Daniel Nestor, while Alex partnered with Jared Palmer. Both new pairings lost to Hewitt and Mirnyi, in the quarterfinals and semifinals, respectively. This marked the last major appearance of former world No. 1 and 17-time major champion Mark Woodforde, and thus the last major appearance of the Woodies; they were defeated in the second round by Hewitt and Mirnyi. Jocelyn Robichaud (born 8 April 1978 in Joliette, Quebec) is a former tour professional tennis player. Robichaud captured three junior Grand Slam titles and played Davis Cup for Canada. More of a doubles specialist, he won three Challenger events in doubles and reached a career-high ATP doubles ranking of World No. 119. Gastón Ariel Etlis (born 4 November 1974) is a former tennis player from Argentina. The right-hander won four career titles in doubles, and reached his highest ATP rankings of World No. 114 in singles May 2000 and World No. 17 in doubles in January 2005.
