Paul Högberg
Paul Högberg (30 October 1911 – 19 February 1999) was a Sweden, Swedish sports administrator who served as the third International Handball Federation#IHF presidents, President of International Handball Federation (IHF) from 1971 to 1984. He was also the President of Swedish Handball Federation from 1948 to 1967. He died on 19 February 1999, aged 87. The International Handball Federation (IHF) is the administrative and controlling body for handball and beach handball. IHF is responsible for the organisation of handball's major international tournaments, notably the IHF World Men's Handball Championship, which commenced in 1938, and the IHF World Women's Handball Championship, which commenced in 1957. Erwin Lanc (17 May 1930 – 29 March 2025) was an Austrian bank employee and politician (SPÖ, Austrian Social Democratic Party). Life and career Born in Vienna, Lanc worked at the Ministry of Social Affairs from 1949 to 1955. In 1959, he joined the Vienna-based Zentralsparkasse. Hans Baumann (handball)
Hans Baumann (1906 – 7 February 1971) was a Swiss architect and sports administrator who was one of the founding members of the International Handball Federation (IHF). He served as the second President of the IHF from 1950 to 1971. Biography Born in Basel, Baumann was an architect by profession. He became a member of the management committee of the Swiss Handball Association in 1939. He had previously served as the vice-president of the IHF from 1946 to 1950 along with Charles Petit-Montgobert (France) under the presidency of Gösta Björk (Sweden). Baumann was elected as IHF President in the 3rd IHF Congress held in Vienna on 9 September 1950, succeesding Björk. Curt Wadmark
Curt Wadmark (; 30 January 1915 – 21 July 2003) was a Swedish handball player, coach and administrator. He played for IFK Lund during the club's only season in the top division in 1938–39. At the end of the season the team withdrew from the league and Wadmark moved to IFK Kristianstad due to the lack of a venue for handball in Lund. He helped the team to two second places in the league and was a member of the team that won the club's first Swedish Championship in 1941, scoring two goals in the final. After that season he returned to Lund to play for the newly-founded Lugi HF, where he played until 1947. The club started in the second division, where they remained throughout Wadmark's spell at the club. He played 76 matches and scored 145 goals for the club.
