Patricia Mota (born 1982) is an actress and film producer of Dominican Republic descent, She played a lead role in the critically acclaimed film '' GI Jesús'' that premiered at the "Grauman's Egyptian Theatre", on January 23, 2007, with Cineville. ''GI Jesús'' took the Grand Jury Prize at CineVegas 06 film festival. She was also in the film ''State Property 2'' with Lions Gate. Career Mota is now CEO of Mota Studios LLC, an artist community with a point of view and a group of artists with a voice and vision. Mota is a painter, photographer and co-producer. Grauman's Egyptian Theatre
Grauman's Egyptian Theatre, also known as Egyptian Hollywood and the Egyptian, is a historic movie theater located on Hollywood Boulevard in Hollywood, Los Angeles, California. Opened in 1922, it is an early example of a lavish movie palace and is noted as having been the site of the world's first film premiere, however, its popularity was supplanted by Grauman's Chinese Theatre when it opened five years later. From 1998 until 2020, the Egyptian was owned and operated by the American Cinematheque, and in May 2020, Netflix bought the theater. CineVegas was a film festival held annually at the Palms Casino Resort in Paradise, Nevada, that ran from 1999 to 2009, typically in early June. CineVegas was originally held at Bally's.
