Patrick Zircher
Patrick Zircher () is an American comic book artist and penciller. Career Zircher's early career as an illustrator began with production of several completed works for '' Villains and Vigilantes'', '' Champions'' and other pen-and-paper role-playing games, as well as work for independent comic book publishers. He illustrated a number of projects for Caliber Comics including ''Dragon Star II'', ''Jason and the Argonauts'' (under the Tome Press banner), and his own creator owned series, ''Samurai 7'' (released under Caliber's Gauntlet imprint). Following this he went on to work largely for Marvel Comics on titles including ''Iron Man'', '' Thunderbolts'' and ''New Warriors''. He also did a considerable amount of work for DC, primarily on ''Nightwing'' and on '' Shadowman'' for Valiant Comics. Iron Man (comic Book)
''Iron Man'' is a comic book series featuring the character Iron Man and published by Marvel Comics. It debuted in 1968. Publication history Volume 1 The character made his first appearance in ''Tales of Suspense'' #39 (cover dated March 1963). After issue #99 (March 1968), the ''Tales of Suspense'' series was renamed ''Captain America (comic book), Captain America''. An Iron Man story appeared in the One-shot (comics), one-shot issue ''Iron Man and Sub-Mariner'' #1 (April 1968), before the "Golden Avenger" made his solo debut with ''Iron Man'' #1 (May 1968). The series' Indicia (publishing), indicia gives its copyright title as ''Iron Man'', while the trademarked cover logo of most issues is ''The Invincible Iron Man''. Artist George Tuska began a decade-long association with the character with ''Iron Man'' #5 (Sept. 1968). Birds Of Prey (comics)
The Birds of Prey is a superhero team featured in several American comic book ongoing series, series, miniseries, and special editions published by DC Comics since 1996. The book's premise originated as a partnership between Black Canary and Barbara Gordon, who had adopted the codename Oracle at the time, but has expanded to include additional Superhero#Female superheroes and villains, superheroines. The team name "Birds of Prey" was attributed to DC assistant editor Frank Pittarese in the text page of the first issue. The group is initially based in Gotham City and later operates in Metropolis (comics), Metropolis and then relocates once more to "Platinum Flats", California, a new locale introduced in ''Birds of Prey'' in 2008. The series was conceived by Jordan B. Gorfinkel and originally written by Chuck Dixon. Gail Simone scripted the comic from issue #56 to #108.
