Patricio Ormazábal
Luis Patricio Ormazábal Mozó (born February 12, 1979), known as Patricio Ormazábal, is a Chilean football manager and former footballer who played as a midfielder. Club career As a child, Ormazábal was with Escuela de Fútbol Municipal de Curicó (Municipal Football Academy of Curicó), later named Juventud 2000, what was founded by the former professional footballer Luis Hernán Álvarez. Next, he moved to Universidad Católica youth ranks. Once in Universidad Católica, he started to alternate with the starting lineup ever since his debut in 1997. He played all over the midfield either as a defensive or double 5, side-half or even as an attacking midfielder. His role on the team became bigger each year earning the right to be 2nd team captain after Miguel Ramírez. 1999 South American U-20 Championship
The 1999 South American Youth Championship (Sudamericana sub-20) is a football competition contested by all ten U-20 national football teams of CONMEBOL. The tournament was held in Argentina between 5 and 25 January 1999, the 23rd time the competition had been held and the 2nd to take place in the country. Argentina finished undefeated, winning their 3rd trophy. Format The teams are separated in two groups of five, and each team plays four matches in a pure round-robin stage. South American U-17 Championship
The South American U-17 Championship (; ), branded as CONMEBOL Sub 17, is a association football, football competition held every two years for South American under-17 teams. The tournament was born in 1985 out of a need for a classification tournament for the newly created FIFA U-16 World Cup (now the FIFA U-17 World Cup). For the first three editions (1985, 1986, and 1988), the competition was limited to under-16 teams. Afterwards, the age limit was raised one year. The tournament is held every two years.
