Karlstad (, ) is the List of urban areas in Sweden by population, 20th-largest city in Sweden, the seat of Karlstad Municipality, the capital of Värmland County, and the largest city in the province Värmland in Sweden. Stig Håkansson (19 October 1918 – 2000) was a Swedish sprinter and long jumper, who won a gold medal in the 4 × 100 m relay at the 1946 European Championships; he finished fifth in the individual 100 m and in the long jump. He won the national titles in the 100 m in 1944 and 1946 and in the long jump in 1939, 1944 and 1945. Per Thomas Håkansson (born 19 October 1957) is a Swedish and Canadian curler, a and two-time Swedish men's champion (1976, 1980). 2015 European Curling Championships
The 2015 European Curling Championships were held from November 20 to 28 in Esbjerg, Denmark. Denmark last hosted the European Curling Championships in 1996 in Copenhagen. The Group C competitions were held during October in Champéry, Switzerland.
