Patalpani–Kalakund Heritage Train is a metre-gauge passenger train of the Indian Railways, which runs between Patalpani railway station, Mhow in Madhya Pradesh and Kalakund in Madhya Pradesh. It is being operated with 52965/52966 train numbers, which operates three days a week i.e Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Mhow, officially Dr. Ambedkar Nagar, is a town in the Indore district in Madhya Pradesh state of India. It is located south-west of Indore city, towards Mumbai on the old -Agra Mumbai Road. Diesel Loco Shed, Mhow
Diesel Loco Shed, Mhow is a metre-gauge engine shed located in Mhow, in the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh. It is located to south of Mhow railway station, it falls under the Ratlam railway division of Western Railway. It is the smallest of the three locomotive sheds in the Western Railway zone. History When Loco Shed started 40 YDM-4s were transferred from other MG sheds to restart Loco Shed as Mhow was a steam shed till the 1998 when the steam service was withdrawn at time shed has capacity to hold hundred steam locomotives. YDM-4
The YDM-4 is a class of diesel locomotives operating on Indian Railways. The first units were built by the American Locomotive Company (Alco) in 1961. Since 1968, members of the class have been manufactured in India by the Banaras Locomotive Works (BLW), Varanasi. The model name stands for metre gauge (Y), diesel (D), mixed traffic (M) engine.
