Pat Ryan (Moycarkey–Borris Hurler)
Patrick Ryan (born 1938) is an Irish former hurler. At club level he played with Moycarkey–Borris and at inter-county level was a member of various Tipperary teams at all levels. Career Ryan first played hurling at club level with Moycarkey–Borris. He was part of the club's senior team that won Mid Tipperary SHC titles in 1965 and 1967. Ryan was also part of the Moycarkey team beaten by Thurles Sarsfields in the 1962 Tipperary SHC final. At inter-county level, Ryan first played for Tipperary as part of the minor team that won three consecutive Munster MHC titles between 1954 and 1956. Two of these wins were later converted into All-Ireland MHC medals, with Ryan captaining the team to victory in 1956 in what was his last game in the grade. Ryan made his senior team debut in 1958. Moycarkey–Borris GAA
Moycarkey–Borris GAA is a Tipperary GAA club which is located in County Tipperary, Ireland. Both hurling and Gaelic football are played in the "Mid-Tipperary" divisional competitions. The club is centred on the village of Littleton, County Tipperary, Littleton but also takes in areas such as Two-Mile-Borris, Horse and Jockey, and Moycarkey. Jimmy Doyle
James Doyle (20 March 1939 – 22 June 2015) was an Irish hurler who played as a right wing-forward for the Tipperary senior team. Born in Thurles, County Tipperary, Doyle first played competitive hurling whilst at school in Thurles CBS. He arrived on the inter-county scene at the age of fourteen when he first linked up with the Tipperary minor team. He made his senior debut in the 1957–58 National League. Doyle went on to play a key part for Tipperary during a hugely successful era for the team, and won six All-Ireland medals, nine Munster medals and seven National Hurling League medals. An All-Ireland runner-up on three occasions, Doyle also captained the team to All-Ireland victory in 1962 and 1965. Ray Reidy
Raymond Reidy (1937 – 10 June 2015) was an Irish people, Irish hurling, hurler who played as centre-back for the Tipperary GAA, Tipperary senior team. Born in Thurles, County Tipperary, Reidy first played competitive hurling during his schooling at Thurles CBS. He arrived on the inter-county scene at the age of sixteen when he first linked up with the Tipperary minor team. He joined the senior panel during the 1956 All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship, 1956 championship. Reidy was a regular member of the team over the next few years and won one All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship, All-Ireland medal and one Munster Senior Hurling Championship, Munster medal as a non-playing substitute. At club level Reidy was a two-time Tipperary Senior Hurling Championship, championship medallist with Thurles Sarsfields. The 1961 All-Ireland Intermediate Hurling Championship was the inaugural staging of the All-Ireland Intermediate Hurling Championship. The championship ran from 2 April to 17 September 1961. The All-Ireland final was played at Wexford Park on 17 September 1961 between Wexford and London, in what was their first ever championship meeting.
