The party whip of the People's Action Party is responsible for ensuring that the People's Action Party (PAP) Parliament of Singapore, Members of Parliament (MPs) attend and vote according to the party's line. The party whip also assists the Parliament in completing its business by listing the speaking MPs and the time required for each item of business. The incumbent party whip is Janil Puthucheary, who was appointed on 6 June 2019. The party's Central Executive Committee (PAP), Central Executive Committee (CEC) will appoint the party whip along with two deputy party whips. Janil Arusha Puthucheary (; born 6 November 1972) is a Malaysian-born Singaporean politician and paediatrician. A member of the governing People's Action Party (PAP), he has been serving as Ministry of Sustainability and the Environment, Senior Minister of State for Sustainability and the Environment and Ministry of Education (Singapore), Senior Minister of State for Education since 2025. He has also been serving as Party Whip of the People's Action Party since 2019. Chan Chun Sing ( zh, s=陈振声, p=Chén Zhènshēng, j=Can4 Zan3 Sing1, first=j; born 9 October 1969) is a Singaporean politician and former major-general who is serving as Minister for Defence in 2025 and Minister-in-charge of Public Service since 2018. The Chua Chu Kang Group Representation Constituency is a four-member Group Representation Constituency located in the western area of Singapore. Gan Kim Yong (born 9 February 1959) is a Singaporean politician who has been serving as Deputy Prime Minister of Singapore since 2024 and Minister for Trade and Industry since 2021.
