Parteš
Parteš (Serbian Cyrillic: Партеш) or Partesh (), is a town and municipality located in the Gjilan District of Kosovo. The municipality was established on 19 August 2010. It is inhabited by Serbs, and as of 2013, it has an estimated population of 5,300 inhabitants. Settlements The municipality consists of town of Parteš and two villages: Pasjane and Donja Budriga. Serbian Enclaves In Kosovo
Serb enclaves are settlements in Kosovo outside North Kosovo ("south of the Ibar") where Serbs form a majority. Serbs have often built roadblocks and barricades, to prevent access by Kosovo Police and customs officers. After the initial outflow after the Kosovo War the situation of the Kosovo Serb communities has improved. The 2013 Brussels Agreement allowed full operation of Kosovo Police and customs officials, while the Community of Serb Municipalities is planned to be created within the Republic of Kosovo legal framework. History According to the 1991 census in Yugoslavia, there were five municipalities with a Serb majority in the Autonomous Province of Kosovo and Metohija. Community Of Serb Municipalities
The Community of Serb Municipalities (, ZSO; , AKS) is a planned inter-municipal association of Serbs in Kosovo, ethnic Serb majority Municipalities of Kosovo, municipalities in Kosovo. The proposal for the association came as a result of the 2013 Brussels Agreement negotiated and concluded by the governments of Government of Kosovo, Kosovo and Government of Serbia, Serbia. In accordance with the competences given by the European Charter of Local Self-Government and Kosovo law, the participating municipalities would be entitled to cooperate in exercising their powers collectively through the association. The association would have full overview of the areas of economic development, education, health, urban and rural planning. District Of Gjilan
The District of Gjilan (; ) is one of the seven Districts of Kosovo, districts (the higher-level administrative divisions) of Kosovo. Its seat is in the city of Gjilan. History Anamorava, literally "side of river of Morava", is the hilly countryside in south eastern Kosovo south of Gjilan and on the Binačka Morava. It stretches eastward to the Preševo (Presheva) valley in southern Serbia. Pasjane
Pasjane ( sr-Cyrl, Пасјане) or Pasjani (), is a village in the municipality of Parteš in Kosovo. It is inhabited by a majority of ethnic Serbs. History The village was mentioned as ''Pasjan'' ( sr-Cyrl, Пасјан) in the Ottoman ''defter'' of 1455 of the Vlk Vilayet (Vilayet of Vuk), encompassing most of Vuk Branković's former territory. At that time the village was populated exclusively by Serbs, on the forehead with priest, living in 94 households. A municipality (; ) is the basic administrative division in Kosovo and constitutes the only level of power in local governance. There are 38 municipalities in Kosovo; 27 of which have an Kosovo Albanians, Albanian ethnic majority, 10 Kosovo Serbs, Serb and Mamusha, 1 Turks in Kosovo, Turkish. Ranilug (Serbian Cyrillic: Ранилуг) or Ranillug ( sq-definite, Ranillugu), is a village and municipality located in the Gjilan District of Kosovo.
