Paris Métro
The Paris Métro (, , or , ), short for Métropolitain (), is a rapid transit system serving the Paris metropolitan area in France. A symbol of the city, it is known for its density within the capital's territorial limits, uniform architecture and Paris Métro entrances by Hector Guimard, historical entrances influenced by Art Nouveau. The system is long, mostly underground. It has 321 stations of which 61 have transfers between lines. Pont De Bir-Hakeim
The — , (), named after the 1942 battle in Libya; formerly the (, (the Bridge of Passy), until 1948 — is a steel open spandrel deck arch bridge on stone masonry starlings, which crosses the River Seine in Paris. It connects the 15th and 16th arrondissements, passing over the north-east end of the , (the Isle of the Swans). The bridge, made of steel, was constructed between 1903 and 1905, in replacement of a footbridge that had been erected in 1878. The bridge has two levels: one for motor vehicles and pedestrians, the other being a rail viaduct (the Viaduc de Passy) built above the first one, through which passes Line 6 of the Paris Métro. Paris Métro Line 7bis
Paris Métro Line 7bis is one of sixteen lines on the Paris Métro. It connects Louis Blanc in the 10th arrondissement of Paris, 10th arrondissement to Pré Saint-Gervais in the 19th arrondissement of Paris, 19th arrondisement in the north-eastern part of the city. With a length of 3.1 kilometres (1.9 mi) and eight stations, the line is the second shortest on the Paris Métro, only longer than Paris Métro Line 3bis, Line 3bis. The line was opened in 1911, then operating as a branch of Paris Métro Line 7, Line 7. Châtelet–Les Halles station () is a major train hub in Paris and the largest underground stations in the world. The Île-de-France tramways () is a network of modern tram lines in the Île-de-France region of France. Fifteen lines are currently operational (counting Lines T3a and T3b as separate lines), with extensions and additional lines in both construction and planning stages.
