Paris Métro Line 3 (French language, French: ''Ligne 3 du métro de Paris'') is one of the sixteen lines of the Paris Métro. It connects Pont de Levallois–Bécon (Paris Métro), Pont de Levallois–Bécon station in the near northwestern suburbs to Gallieni (Paris Métro), Gallieni in the east. After opening as the network's third line in 1904, it was the subject of a number of extensions, with a major restructuring occurring in the eastern section in 1971, with an extension to Gallieni and the conversion of the original terminal branch to Paris Métro Line 3bis, Line 3bis. Rive Droite
The Rive Droite (; Right Bank) is most commonly associated with the river Seine in central Paris. Here, the river flows roughly westwards, cutting the city into two parts. When facing downstream, the northern bank is to the right, whereas the southern bank (or Rive Gauche) is to the left. The Rive Droite's most famous street is the Champs-Élysées, with others of prominence being the Rue de la Paix, Rue de Rivoli, Avenue de l'Opéra and Avenue Montaigne. The Paris Commune (, ) was a French revolutionary government that seized power in Paris on 18 March 1871 and controlled parts of the city until 28 May 1871. During the Franco-Prussian War of 1870–71, the French National Guard (France), National Guard had defended Paris, and working-class radicalism grew among its soldiers. Following the establishment of the French Third Republic in September 1870 (under French chief-executive Adolphe Thiers from February 1871) and the complete defeat of the French Army by the Germans by March 1871, soldiers of the National Guard seized control of the city on 18 March. Paris Métro Line 7bis is one of sixteen lines on the Paris Métro. It connects Louis Blanc in the 10th arrondissement of Paris, 10th arrondissement to Pré Saint-Gervais in the 19th arrondissement of Paris, 19th arrondisement in the north-eastern part of the city. With a length of 3.1 kilometres (1.9 mi) and eight stations, the line is the second shortest on the Paris Métro, only longer than Paris Métro Line 3bis, Line 3bis.
