The Metropolitan Region of Vale do Paraíba e Litoral Norte () is an administrative division of the state of São Paulo in Brazil. It was created in 2012. It takes its name from the Paraíba Valley and the northern coast of São Paulo state. Its seat is in São José dos Campos, the most populous municipality in the region. Igaratá
Igaratá is a municipality in the state of São Paulo in Brazil. It is part of the Metropolitan Region of Vale do Paraíba e Litoral Norte. The population is 9,583 (2020 est.) in an area of 292.95 km². The elevation is 745 m. This place name comes from the Tupi language. Geography Igaratá lies adjacent to the Igaratá reservoir, fed and drained by the Jaguari River. Queluz is a municipality in the state of São Paulo in Brazil. It is part of the Metropolitan Region of Vale do Paraíba e Litoral Norte. Potim
Potim is a municipality in the state of São Paulo in Brazil. It is part of the Metropolitan Region of Vale do Paraíba e Litoral Norte. The population is 25,130 (2020 est.) in an area of 44.47 km². The elevation is 535 m. History The settlement developed slowly. It became a fishing and rural workers' village. At the time of Brazil's independence, the neighborhood was the largest producer of cassava in Guaratinguetá. Lavrinhas is a municipality in the state of São Paulo in Brazil. It is formed by the neighborhoods of Jardim Mavisou, Pinheiros, Capela do Jacu, Village Campestre and Centro, where its seat is located. Lagoinha is a municipality in the eastern part of the state of São Paulo, Brazil. It is part of the Metropolitan Region of Vale do Paraíba e Litoral Norte.
