Parava is a commune in Bacău County, Western Moldavia, Romania. It is composed of four villages: Drăgușani, Parava, Rădoaia and Teiuș. Bacău County () is a county (județ) of Romania, in Western Moldavia, with its capital city at Bacău. It has one commune, Ghimeș-Făget, in Transylvania. Geography This county has a total area of . In the western part of the county there are mountains from the Divisions of the Carpathians, Eastern Carpathian group. Western Moldavia (, ''Moldova de Apus'', or , also known as Moldavia, is the core historic and geographical part of the former Principality of Moldavia situated in eastern and north-eastern Romania. The Romanian Orthodox Church (ROC; , ), or Romanian Patriarchate, is an autocephalous Eastern Orthodox church in full communion with other Eastern Orthodox Christian churches, and one of the nine patriarchates in the Eastern Orthodox Church. The Romanian Union Conference of Seventh-day Adventists () is Romania's seventh-largest religious body, part of the worldwide Seventh-day Adventist Church. At the 2011 census, 85,902 Romanians declared themselves to be Seventh-Day Adventists. The church put its own membership at 62,215 in 2020.
