Panteón Jardín
Panteón Jardín ("Garden Cemetery") is a cemetery in Mexico City in which several notable people are interred. It is located in the southwest of the city, between the San Ángel and Olivar de los Padres boroughs. It is a garden cemetery, built in what used to be the outskirts of the city in the 1930s. It's wide central boulevard leads to a small hill in the back. It's near 150 acres are used mostly for Catholic burials, but has a special section for Jewish ones, called ''La Fraternidad'' (The Fraternity). Since 1946, another section belongs to the National Association of Actors (National Association of Actors), used mainly for actors and actresses. It has a capacity of 85,000 graves. It's non-denominational, and even as a private cemetery, it's open to the public. Notable people buried here are artists, musicians, actors and actresses, politicians and presidents. Raúl Anguiano
José Raúl Anguiano Valadez (February 26, 1915 – January 13, 2006) was a notable Mexican painter of the 20th century, part of the “second generation” of Mexican muralists which continued the tradition of Diego Rivera, José Clemente Orozco and David Alfaro Siqueiros but experimented with it as well. Anguiano was born during the height of the Mexican Revolution, which would inspire a majority of his mural painting. He studied painting in his hometown of Guadalajara before moving to Mexico City to begin his career. His first major exhibition was held at the Palacio de Bellas Artes, at age 20. His works include over 100 individual and collective exhibitions with 50 murals, mostly in Mexico and the United States. Domingo Soler
Domingo Soler (born Domingo Díaz Pavia; 17 April 1901 – 13 June 1961) was a Mexican actor and occasional screenwriter of the Golden Age of Mexican cinema. He appeared in over 150 films and wrote the screenplays for 2 films. Soler won an Ariel Award for Best Actor for his performance in the 1945 drama film '' The Shack'', making him the first winner in that category. Early life Domingo Soler was born in Chilpancingo, Guerrero as Domingo Díaz Pavía on 17 April 1901 to Domingo Díaz García and Irene Pavía Soler. Blanca Estela Pavón
María Blanca Estela Pavón Vasconcelos (February 21, 1926 – September 26, 1949) was a Mexican film actress and singer of the Golden Age of Mexican cinema. She appeared in many classic films of the 1940s as a young woman. Her career peaked between 1948 and 1949. Amalia Isabel Rodríguez Carriera (3 July 1924 – 8 November 2021), known professionally as Amalia Aguilar, was a Cuban-Mexican dancer, actress and comedian. Martha Alejandra Meyer (February 26, 1937 – November 7, 2007) was a Mexican telenovela actress.
