Pandæmonium (Paradise Lost)
Pandæmonium (or Pandemonium in some versions of English language, English) is the Capital city, capital of Hell in John Milton's epic poem ''Paradise Lost''. The name stems from the Greek language, Greek ''pan'' (παν), meaning 'all' or 'every', and ''daimónion'' (δαιμόνιον), a diminutive form meaning 'little spirit', 'little angel', or, as Christians interpreted it, 'little daemon', and later, 'demon'. ''Pandæmonium'' thus roughly translates as "All Demons"—but can also be interpreted as ''Pandemoneios'' (Παν-δαιμον-ειον), or 'all-demon-place'. John Milton invented the name in ''Paradise Lost'' (1667), as "A solemn Council forthwith to be held at ''Pandæmonium'', the high Capitol, of Satan and his List of demons in the Ars Goetia, Peers" [Book I, Lines 754-756], which was built by the fallen angels at the suggestion of Mammon. It was designed by the architect Mulciber (Paradise Lost), Mulciber, who had been the designer of palaces in Heaven before ...

Pandemonium (Dungeons & Dragons)
In the fantasy role-playing game ''Dungeons & Dragons'', an Outer Plane is one of a number of general types of planes of existence. They can also be referred to as ''godly planes'', ''spiritual planes,'' or ''divine planes''. The Outer Planes are home to beings such as deities and their servants such as demons, celestials and devils. Each Outer Plane is usually the physical manifestation of a particular moral and ethical alignment and the entities that dwell there often embody the traits related to that alignment. The intangible and esoteric Outer Planes—the realms of ideals, philosophies, and gods—stand in contrast to the Inner Planes, which compose the material building blocks of reality and the realms of energy and matter. All Outer Planes are spatially infinite but are composed of features and locations of finite scope. Many of these planes are often split into a collection of further infinites called ''layers'', which are essentially sub-planes that represent one ...

The Lost And Found Orchestra
''Pandemonium: the Lost and Found Orchestra'' is a music based physical theatre piece created by the founders of the percussive theatre show Stomp, Luke Cresswell and Steve McNicholas. Its origins lie in the theatrical conceits of Stomp and the film/TV soundtrack work of Cresswell/McNicholas. The basic premise was to create an entire orchestra, replacing each section with invented instruments and found objects, bringing the elements of physical theatre and silent comedy from Stomp to an eclectic orchestral concert. It was initially commissioned for the 2006 Brighton Festival, which was celebrating its 40th anniversary, re-appeared at the Sydney Festival in the Sydney Opera House the following year.
