Francisco González Galán (14 February 1897 – 9 February 1976), also known as Paco González , was a Spanish footballer who played as a forward for Real Madrid, and Espanyol in the 1920s. He later worked as a manager, taking charge of Deportivo de La Coruña and Real Zaragoza. Playing career Early career Born in A Coruña on 14 February 1897, González began his football career in the youth ranks of his hometown teams Celita and Arvida, from where he moved to Real Club Coruña in 1913. In the following year, he signed for Deportivo de La Coruña, with whom he played for five years, until 1919, when he was sent to Madrid to carry out his mandatory military service in the El Pardo battalion, where he quickly became the captain of the Telegraph Regiment team in the Central Region Military Championship. Paco Gonzalez (horse Trainer)
Juan "Paco" Gonzalez (born March 17, 1945, in Yahualica, Jalisco, Mexico) is an American Thoroughbred horse racing trainer. Life The fourth of six children, Paco Gonzalez grew up on a ranch near Guadalajara where his family owned Quarter horses. As a boy he was inspired to go into the Thoroughbred racing business by two older brothers who were jockeys at Agua Caliente Racetrack in Tijuana. In 1964, Paco Gonzalez followed his brothers north to California where he found work as a stable hand for trainer Joe Manzi under whom he would learn the business for the next twenty-five years. Career Joe Manzi died in April 198and Gonzalez took over as trainer of the stable whose clients included John A. Toffan, John Toffan and Trudy McCaffery, Canadian friends who raced as a partnership. Paco González (footballer, Born 1951)
Francisco "Paco" González (born 16 June 1951) is a Paraguayan former professional footballer who played as a midfielder. Playing career González started appearing professionally for Belenenses in 1972, scoring sixteen goals in twenty-six matches throughout the 1972–73 Primeira Divisão season; notably netting twice on his debut against CUF Barreiro on 10 September. He remained with the club for a total of five campaigns, with fifty-eight goals coming across one hundred and twenty-nine matches; though none were scored in his final season of 1976–77. Prior to the start of the 1977–78 Primeira Divisão, González joined Porto. Despite staying for two years, he appeared just six times for them without finding the net. Paco González (journalist)
Francisco "Paco" González González (Madrid, 1966) is a Spanish sport journalist. Gonzalez was born in Madrid in 1966, but raised in Folgueras de Cornás (Tineo, Asturias). He returned to Madrid to study journalism at Complutense University. He started work as an intern at broadcaster Cadena SER in 1987 and did not graduate. Due to his talent, he was put in charge of Carrusel Deportivo, one of the most important radio programmes, at the age of 25. He was the producer of ''Carrusel'', where he worked alongside Pepe Domingo Castaño and Manolo Lama, until May 2010. González has been the Spanish language, Spanish color commentator (alongside Manolo Lama) of the EA Sports' FIFA (video game series), FIFA series video game since 1998. In May, 2010, he was fired after a dispute with the management of Cadena SER, and joined Telecinco for its coverage of the FIFA World Cup 2010.
