Geography Pacific Paradise is bounded to the south by the Maroochy River, to the south-west by the Sunshine Motorway, to the north-east by Finland Road, to the north loosely by the North Shore Connection Road. The suburb is part of the Maroochydore urban centre and is located by road north of Maroochydore CBD via the Sunshine Motorway. The residential areas are in the north-east of the suburb () with the remainder of the suburb being undeveloped land, either used for farming or unused because it is marshland. Undanbi
The Undanbi are an Aboriginal Australian people of southern Queensland. Alternative or clan names include Inabara, Djindubari and Ningy Ningy (also spelt Ningyningy and other variants). Name The Exonym and endonym, autonym Undanbi is formed from their word for 'man' (''dan''). Language The Undanbi spoke a dialect mutually intelligible with that of the Jagera people, Jagera and Turrbal peoples, and it was apparently the dialect mastered by Tom Petrie. Electoral District Of Cooroora
Cooroora was an electoral district of the Legislative Assembly in the Australian state of Queensland from 1912 to 1992. It was based mainly on the area of the district of Wide Bay and named after Mount Cooroora, near the town of Pomona. Cooroora was mainly a safe Country/National seat but was one of the many seats that Labor won in the 1989 election landslide. It was abolished in the 1991 redistribution under the Goss government, and its territory was distributed between the new districts of Noosa and Maroochydore. Mudjimba is a coastal suburb in the Sunshine Coast Region, Queensland, Australia, and forms part of the Maroochydore urban centre. In the , Mudjimba had a population of 2,664 people. Geography The suburb is bounded by Mudjimba Beach on the Coral Sea to the east, the David Low Way to the north and north-west, and Ocean Drive to the south. There are two main residential areas in the suburb, one in the north-east beside the beach and the one along Najoor Road in the west of the suburb. Jack Charles Allan Pizzey (2 February 1911 – 31 July 1968) was a Queensland Country Party politician. He was Premier of Queensland, in a coalition with the Liberal Party, from 17 January 1968 until his death on 31 July that year. The Shire of Maroochy was a local government area about north of Brisbane in the Sunshine Coast region of South East Queensland, Australia. The shire covered an area of , and existed as a local government entity from 1890 until 2008, when it amalgamated with its neighbours to the north and south to form the Sunshine Coast Region. History In 1842, Andrew Petrie explored the coast north of Brisbane and discovered the Mary River with a small party including two Aboriginal men from the Brisbane River region who spoke the Yuggera language. David Low Way
David Low Way is a Australian road connecting the many coastal townships of the Sunshine Coast with the two large city centres of Maroochydore in the south and Noosa Heads in the north. The route is an alternative coastal route to the Sunshine Motorway and passes through the sugar and fruit growing town of Bli Bli and then crosses the Sunshine Motorway. The road then travels north along the coast, through many coastal towns to the terminus at Noosa Heads. It is named after David Low, a local Member of the Queensland Legislative Assembly.
