Pablo Álvarez Núñez (born 14 May 1980) is a Spanish former professional Association football, footballer who played as a Midfielder#Wide midfielder, right midfielder. Club career Born in Oviedo, Asturias, Álvarez started his professional career at neighbouring Sporting de Gijón, making his first-team debut on 19 May 2001 in a 1–2 home defeat against Real Betis in the Segunda División and going on to appear in 168 games in all competitions. At Gijón, he earned the nickname ''Tibu'' (diminutive of ''Tiburón'', shark in Spanish language, Spanish) for his goal celebrations, in which he pretended to have a shark's fin in his head. Álvarez signed for Deportivo de La Coruña on a Bosman ruling, Bosman transfer in August 2006. Pablo Álvarez Ugarte (born 15 July 1994) is a Spanish retired footballer who played as a left-back, and the manager of AD Alcorcón. Playing career Born in Madrid, Álvarez only played in his hometown during his entire career. After representing UD Jocker Moratalaz, ED Moratalaz, CD San Fernando de Henares, CD Coslada and CD Leganés as a youth, he made his senior debut with CD Covibar in the regional leagues. On 10 September 2015, after one season at CD San Roque EFF, Álvarez returned to Moratalaz. On 3 December 2016, he announced his retirement at the age of 22, after accepting an offer to become a fitness coach at UD San Sebastián de los Reyes. Pablo Álvarez García (born 23 April 1997) is a Spanish professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Ukrainian club Karpaty Lviv.
