Pablo Brägger
Pablo Dominic Brägger (born 27 November 1992) is a Swiss former artistic gymnast. He is the 2017 European champion on the horizontal bar. He won a bronze medal on the floor exercise at the 2015 European Championships and a bronze medal in the team event at the 2016 European Championships. He competed at the 2016 and 2020 Summer Olympics. Gymnastics career Brägger began gymnastics when he was eight years old. Junior Brägger competed alongside Oliver Hegi and Michael Meier at the 2009 European Youth Olympic Festival, and they won the team silver medal behind Russia. Individually, he won bronze medals on the floor exercise and the vault. At the 2010 European Championships, he won a bronze medal in the all-around behind British gymnasts Sam Oldham and Max Whitlock. 2010 European Men's Artistic Gymnastics Championships
The 29th European Men's Artistic Gymnastics Championships was held from 21 to 25 April 2010 at the National Indoor Arena in Birmingham. The senior and junior events are different. During the senior's qualification the top eight teams progress to the team final, and the top eight gymnasts (two per nation maximum) on each apparatus qualify for the individual finals. After the qualification for the juniors the team medals and places are awarded. Unlike the seniors in this event the top 24 gymnasts (two per nation maximum) compete in the all around final. 2016 AT&T American Cup
The 2016 American Cup, known as the 2016 AT&T American Cup for sponsorship reasons, was the fortieth edition of the American Cup, part of the World Cup circuit in artistic gymnastics. It was held on March 5, 2016, at the Prudential Center in Newark. Gabrielle Douglas of the United States won the women's competition, and Ryohei Kato of Japan won the men's. USA Gymnastics promoted the event as the beginning of preparations for the 2016 Olympic Games. For the seventh year, the competition was held in conjunction with the Nastia Liukin Cup. For the first time, it was also held in conjunction with the Elite Team Cup, a men's competition. 2015 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships
The 2015 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships was the 46th edition of the Artistic Gymnastics World Championships. The competition was held from 23 October – 1 November 2015 at The SSE Hydro in Glasgow, United Kingdom, and is the first time that Scotland hosted the event. Kristian Thomas
Kristian James Thomas (born 14 February 1989 in Wolverhampton) is a British former artistic gymnast. A long-standing member of both the England and Great Britain men's teams, he was a member of the British team that won gold in the 2012 European Championships team event, and a historic bronze in the same event at the 2012 Summer Olympics. He won his first global individual medal in the 2013 World Championships, a bronze in vault; it was also the first global medal ever won in vault by a British male gymnast. In 2015 he won his first major international title, gold in the floor exercise at the 2015 European Artistic Gymnastics Championships. Thomas was coached by Michelle Bradley and Alexei Popov, and is a member of the Earls gymnastics club. He was born in Wolverhampton. Ümit Şamiloğlu
Ümit Şamiloğlu (born 29 September 1980) is a retired Turkish artistic gymnast. He competed in the horizontal bar event and has won numerous gold medals in international competition. He is said to be the "oldest gymnast" at competitions in which he takes part. He is the creator of a special grip registered by the International Gymnastics Federation into the Code of Points as the "Şamiloğlu" grip. The 2013 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships were held in Antwerp, Belgium, from 30 September to 6 October 2013 at Antwerp's Sports Palace. Kōhei Uchimura won the men's individual all-around gold medal, and finished the competition with four total medals.
