PATH Foundation
PATH Foundation is a non-profit organization that builds of off-road trails in and around the metro Atlanta area for walkers, runners, skaters, and cyclists. The foundation was established in 1991. The goal was to develop a network of off-road trails in Atlanta in time for use during the 1996 Summer Olympics. The trails are also a way to connect neighborhoods and preserve the regional character. The first demonstration trails were built near Clarkston, Georgia, Clarkston in DeKalb County, Georgia, DeKalb County. Presently, trails exist in Atlanta, Smyrna, Georgia, Smyrna, Decatur, Georgia, Decatur, Stone Mountain, and Conyers, Georgia, Conyers. Conyers is a city and the county seat of Rockdale County, Georgia, United States. Chastain Park
Chastain Memorial Park (originally known as the North Fulton Park, commonly known as Chastain Park) is the second largest city park in Atlanta, Georgia. It is a park near the northern edge of the city. Included in the park are jogging paths, playgrounds, NYO ball fields, tennis courts, a golf course, swimming pool, horse park and amphitheater.
