Oxford Falls is a suburb of northern Sydney, in the state of New South Wales, Australia 20 kilometres north-east of the Sydney central business district in the local government area of Northern Beaches Council. Oxford Falls is part of the Northern Beaches region and also considered to be part of the Forest District, colloquially known as ''The Forest''. The Northern Beaches Council is a local government area located in the Northern Beaches region of Sydney, in the state of New South Wales, Australia. The council was formed on 12 May 2016 after the amalgamation of Manly, Pittwater and Warringah Councils. Oxford Falls Peace Park
Oxford Falls Peace Park is a park in Oxford Falls, New South Wales, Australia, a suburb of Sydney. Community uses The park is the home to Warringah Council's ANZAC Day ceremonies. It is also home to many celebrations and services throughout the year. Oxford Falls Grammar School, across the road from the Peace Park, often provides bands to play commemorative music on these special days. C3 Church Global, formerly known as Christian City Church International (C3i), is a charismatic movement founded by Phil Pringle and Christine Pringle. The first church was started in Dee Why on the Northern Beaches of Sydney, Australia, and is now located in Oxford Falls. As of October 2019, C3 Church Global was a community of over 500 churches. Garigal National Park
The Garigal National Park is a protected national park that is located within the North Shore and Forest District regions of Sydney, New South Wales, in eastern Australia. The national park is situated approximately north of the Sydney central business district. Split into three distinct sections, divided by natural geography, urban development and road infrastructure, the park comprises the valley of Middle Harbour Creek and its tributaries, the slopes along the northern side of Middle Harbour as far as and part of the catchment of Narrabeen Lakes. John De Vere Loder, 2nd Baron Wakehurst
John de Vere Loder, 2nd Baron Wakehurst, (5 February 1895 – 30 October 1970) was a British Army officer, politician and colonial administrator. After serving in the army, the Foreign Office, and as a Conservative Member of Parliament (MP) in the House of Commons, Wakehurst was appointed as the last British Governor of New South Wales, which he held from 1937 to 1946. Upon returning to Britain he was appointed Governor of Northern Ireland from 1952 to 1964. He was made a Knight of the Order of the Garter in 1962 and died in 1970. The Northern Beaches is a region within Northern Sydney, in the state of New South Wales, Australia, near the Pacific coast.
