Owain Tudur Jones
Owain Tudur Jones (born 15 October 1984) is a Welsh former footballer who played as a defensive midfielder. He represented the Wales national football team and during his club career he played for Porthmadog, Bangor City, Swansea City, Swindon Town, Norwich City, Yeovil Town, Brentford, Inverness Caledonian Thistle, Hibernian and Falkirk. He is currently assistant manager of Wales C. He is also currently a presenter for the Welsh football show ''Sgorio'' and Welsh magazine show ''Heno''. Club career Born in Bangor, Gwynedd, Jones joined Bangor City from Cymru Alliance club Porthmadog during the summer of 2001. In four seasons, Jones was in the Citizens' team that lost the 2002 Welsh Cup Final to Barry Town at Park Avenue, Aberystwyth. He also played in the UEFA Intertoto Cup in June 2002 against Romanian side Gloria Bistriţa. Bangor (; ) is a cathedral city and community in Gwynedd, North Wales. It is the oldest city in Wales. () is a Welsh-language football television programme produced by Rondo Media for S4C. First broadcast on 5 September 1988, it is one of S4C's longest-running shows and renowned for its coverage of European football, but for the first few years the show also featured highlights of rallying, rugby league, hurling, gaelic football, ice hockey and climbing. In sports, a loan involves a particular player being able to temporarily play for a club other than the one to which they are currently contracted. Richard Steadman
Dr. J. Richard Steadman (June 4, 1937 – January 20, 2023) was a pioneering orthopedic surgeon and founder of The Steadman Clinic and Steadman Philippon Research Institute (SPRI) located in Vail, Colorado. Dr. Steadman revolutionized orthopaedic surgery; saved and advanced careers of many Olympic and professional sports champions, and helped recreational athletes stay physically active longer. For a time, he was a clinical professor at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, but was perhaps best known medically for his work in the area of microfracture surgery, and publicly for treating injured sports stars from around the world. The UEFA Intertoto Cup (from la, Inter, 'between' + german: toto, 'betting pool'),Most precisely, from (football pool); cf. often abbreviated and more known in the German-speaking world as UI Cup and originally called the International Football Cup, was a summer football competition. The competition was discontinued after the 2008 tournament. Teams who originally would have entered the Intertoto Cup now directly enter the qualifying stages of the UEFA Europa League from this point. Aberystwyth () is a university and seaside town as well as a community in Ceredigion, Wales. Located in the historic county of Cardiganshire, means "the mouth of the Ystwyth". The FAW Welsh Cup ( cy, Cwpan Cymdeithas Pêl-droed Cymru), currently known as the JD Welsh Cup for sponsorship reasons, is a knock-out football competition contested annually by teams in the Welsh football league system. It is considered the most prestigious of the cup competitions in domestic Welsh association football.
