Lyon Metro Line B
Line B () is a line on the Lyon Metro that runs between Charpennes and Gare d'Oullins. It was constructed using the cut-and-cover method, and went into service on 2 May 1978. Together with Line A, it was one of the inaugural lines of the Lyon Metro. It has since been extended three times: from Part-Dieu to Jean Macé in 1981, from Jean Macé to Stade de Gerland in 2000, and from Stade de Gerland to Oullins railway station in 2013. The line serves 10 stations, and is long. Line B trains run on tires rather than steel wheels; it is a rubber-tired metro line. Patrice Garande
Patrice Garande (born 27 November 1960) is a French former professional footballer who played as a striker, currently a manager. Playing career Club Born in Oullins, Rhône, Garande finished his development at AS Saint-Étienne, but appeared rarely for the first team during his tenure. In 1981, following a spell in the Swiss Super League with CS Chênois, he signed with AJ Auxerre, scoring a career-best 21 goals in the 1983–84 season to help them finish in third place in Ligue 1 and becoming top scorer in the process. After leaving the Stade de l'Abbé-Deschamps in the summer of 1986, Garande went on to represent, in the French top division, FC Nantes, Saint-Étienne, Montpellier HSC, Le Havre AC and FC Sochaux-Montbéliard, eventually amassing competition totals of 314 matches and 97 goals. Féthi Harek ( ar, فتحي حارك; born 21 October 1982) is a former professional footballer who played as a defender. Having begun his career with lower league sides AS Saint-Priest, FAIRM Île-Rousse Monticello, and Rodez AF, he spent the majority of his career with SC Bastia and Nîmes Olympique. Olivier Panis (; born 2 September 1966) is a French former racing driver. Panis raced in Formula One for ten seasons, earning his first and only win at the 1996 Monaco Grand Prix for the Ligier team. Clément Turpin (; born 16 May 1982) is a French football referee. He has been a FIFA listed referee since 2010, and an UEFA Elite group referee since 2012. Career Turpin became a FIFA referee in 2010. He has served as a referee in the 2014 and 2018 World Cup qualifiers. He became a referee in UEFA club competitions from the 2010–11 UEFA Europa League. Patrick de Gayardon (; 23 January 1960 in Oullins, Rhône – 13 April 1998 in Hawaii) was a French skydiver, skysurfer and a BASE jumper. De Gayardon was famous for pushing the boundaries of skydiving. Jean-Bryan Boukaka (born 13 March 1992) is a French professional footballer who plays as a striker for Championnat National 3 club Bourgoin-Jallieu. Career Boukaka's first club was CREPS de Vichy.
