Omar Chávez
Omar Alonso Chávez Carrasco (born January 4, 1990) is a Mexican professional boxer and the one time WBC Youth Intercontinental welterweight champion. He is the son of former three-division world champion of boxing, Julio César Chávez. Personal life Omar was born in the city of Culiacán, Sinaloa, Mexico. He is the son of legendary boxing champion Julio César Chávez and his then-wife Amalia Carrasco, and brother of former middleweight champion Julio César Chávez, Jr. Omar's face became known to boxing fans when his father would take him and his older brother, Julio Jr. into the ring as children, before each of Chávez Sr.'s fights. Welterweight is a weight class in combat sports. Originally the term "welterweight" was used only in boxing, but other combat sports like Muay Thai, taekwondo, and mixed martial arts also use it for their own weight division system to classify the opponents. Tepic () is the capital and largest city of the western Mexican state of Nayarit, as well as the seat of the Tepic Municipality. Roberto García (born March 26, 1980) is a Mexican professional boxer. Early life García moved to Houston, Texas at an early age. It was in Houston that García began to box. His father turned his home into a gym where he trained, and he began boxing at the age of 16. In his junior year in high school he was challenged by a local Boys and Girls Club Champion at school. "My very first sparring session ended really quick. It was over in the beginning round. Right when I punched him on the nose he quit, I'm it pretty sure it was broken", García was quoted as saying.
