OKK Spars Sarajevo
Omladinski košarkaški klub Spars, commonly referred to as OKK Spars or Spars Ilidža, is a men's professional basketball club based in Ilidža, Bosnia and Herzegovina. The club competes in the Basketball Championship of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the ABA League Second Division. The club is owned and run by Nihad Selimović and few others. History The club was founded in 2005 as OKK Spars and competed in lower-ranking divisions until joining 2nd-tier A1 League in the 2011–12 season. After winning the A1 League in the 2012–13 season, they were promoted to the Basketball Championship of Bosnia and Herzegovina for the 2013–14 season. In December 2019, the club was merged with Realway, and changed its name to KK Spars Realway. However, on 31 December 2020, Spars and Realway parted their ways and the club changed its name back to OKK Spars. Basketball Championship Of Bosnia And Herzegovina
The Basketball Championship of Bosnia and Herzegovina is the top–tier men's professional basketball league in Bosnia and Herzegovina for men and women, respectively. The league is operated by the Basketball Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Competition format The league is composed of 12 teams, each playing against the other eleven two times, home and away. After this portion concludes, the top six clubs are joined by the country's representatives in the Adriatic League, and enter "League 6". The best of these four teams go to the playoffs, and in the final best-of-five series, the Bosnian champion is crowned. The eight teams who do not make the playoffs go on to compete in the "relegation league," where a team's object becomes maintaining its standing and ability to play in the competition the following year. The 2014–15 Euroleague Basketball Next Generation Tournament, also called Adidas Next Generation Tournament by sponsorship reasons, was the 13th edition of the international junior basketball tournament organized by the Euroleague Basketball Company. As in past years, 32 teams joined the first stage, which was played in four qualifying tournaments between December 2014 and February 2015. The Euroleague Basketball Next Generation Tournament is an international boy's youth age basketball tournament that is contested between the best basketball clubs in Europe in the Under-18 age category. The tournament is organized by Euroleague Basketball, and is sponsored by Adidas. The tournament's Final Four takes place during the senior men's EuroLeague Final Four event.
