The Outram Community Hospital (OCH) is a 545-bed community hospital in Bukit Merah, Singapore. It is located adjacent to, and complements, the Singapore General Hospital (SGH). History The Outram Community Hospital was first announced by Minister for Health Mr Gan Kim Yong as part of the Healthcare 2020 plan during the Committee of Supply (COS) speech in 2012, which aims to increase the number of hospital beds by 3,700 around Singapore by 2020, of which 1,800 will be Community Hospital beds. Singapore Health Services, commonly known as SingHealth, is the largest group of healthcare institutions in Singapore. Outram Park MRT station ( ) is an underground Mass Rapid Transit (Singapore), Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) interchange station in Singapore. Gan Kim Yong
Gan Kim Yong (born 9 February 1959) is a Singaporean politician who has been serving as Deputy Prime Minister of Singapore since 2024 and Minister for Trade and Industry since 2021.
