Otto Rösch
Otto Franz Rösch or Otto Roesch (; 24 March 1917 – 3 November 1995) was an Austrian politician of the SPÖ. He was a member of the Nazi Party and worked in a National Socialist educational institution. He rose to become the Secretary of state in Austria. Early life Rösch was born in Vienna, Austria on 24 March 1917. He studied (law and philosophy) at the University of Vienna and the University of Graz. Career Rösch was a member of the Nazi Party and on 8 December 1947, he was arrested and put on trial as a neo-Nazi. He was acquitted in 1949. Rösch rose to become the Secretary of State in Austria. During the Cold War, he called for reducing defense spending. Bruno Kreisky
Bruno Kreisky (; 22 January 1911 – 29 July 1990) was an Austrian social democratic politician who served as foreign minister from 1959 to 1966 and as chancellor from 1970 to 1983. Aged 72, he was the oldest chancellor after World War II. Kreisky's 13-year tenure was the longest of any chancellor in republican Austria and, as an influential political figure in Western European social democracy, he worked closely with likeminded leaders Willy Brandt of West Germany and Olof Palme of Sweden in Socialist International. Austrian Nazism or Austrian National Socialism was a pan-German movement that was formed at the beginning of the 20th century. The movement took a concrete form on 15 November 1903 when the German Worker's Party (DAP) was established in Austria with its secretariat stationed in the town of Aussig (now Ústí nad Labem in the Czech Republic). It was suppressed under the rule of Engelbert Dollfuss (1932–34), with its political organization, the DNSAP ("German National Socialist Workers' Party") banned in early 1933, but was revived and made part of the German Nazi Party after the German annexation of Austria in 1938.
