The Ostioneros de Guaymas were a professional baseball team based in Guaymas, Sonora, Mexico. The Ostioneros played in the Mexican Pacific League and used the Estadio Abelardo L. Rodríguez as their home ballpark. During its existence, the club won seven league championships. Steve Ontiveros (infielder)
Steven Robert Ontiveros (born October 26, 1951) is a former third baseman in Major League Baseball who played from through for the San Francisco Giants (1973–1976) and Chicago Cubs (1977–1980). He also played six seasons in Japan for the Seibu Lions (1980–1985). Ontiveros was a switch-hitter and threw right-handed. He is of Mexican American descent. A solid third baseman with an average arm, Ontiveros won ''The Sporting News'' Minor League Player of the Year Award in 1973. He reached the majors with the San Francisco Giants late in the season, spending four years with them. He was traded along with Bobby Murcer and minor-league right-handed pitcher Andy Muhlstock from the Giants to the Cubs for Bill Madlock and Rob Sperring on February 11, 1977.

Felix McLaurin
Felix Vernon McLaurin (September 6, 1921 – May 19, 1972) was an American Negro league outfielder in the 1940s. A native of Jacksonville, Florida, McLaurin made his Negro leagues debut in 1942 for the Jacksonville Red Caps and the Birmingham Black Barons. Jerry Dean Hinsley (born April 9, 1945) is an American former professional baseball player, a right-handed pitcher whose career extended from 1963 through 1971. He had two trials in Major League Baseball for the and New York Mets. Hinsley stood tall and weighed , and originally signed with the Pittsburgh Pirates in 1963 out of high school in Las Cruces, New Mexico. He spent the entire 1963 season on the roster of the Pirates' Rookie-level Appalachian League affiliate but did not appear in any games. Gary George Gray (born September 21, 1952) is a former Major League Baseball first baseman who played parts of six seasons from until . During that time, he played for the Texas Rangers, Cleveland Indians, and Seattle Mariners. Career Gray played college baseball at Southeastern Oklahoma State University, and was selected by the Rangers in the 18th round of the 1974 Major League Baseball Draft. He spent 1974 with the Rangers' rookie squad, then played for the Anderson Rangers in 1975. With Anderson, Gray had a .302 batting average, 18 home runs, and 95 runs batted in in 135 games. Matías Carrillo García (born 24 February 1963) is a Mexican professional baseball manager and former outfielder.
