Osredek Pri Zrečah
Osredek pri Zrečah () is a small settlement immediately west of the town of Zreče in northeastern Slovenia. The area is part of the traditional region of Styria. It is now included with the rest of the Municipality of Zreče in the Savinja Statistical Region. History Osredek was a hamlet of Križevec until 1994, when it was administratively separated and became a village in its own right named ''Osredek''. In 1998, it was renamed ''Osredek pri Zrečah'' (literally, 'Osredek near Zreče'). Lake Zreče Lake Zreče () lies within the territory of the settlement. Lake Zreče is a reservoir that was created in 2000 by damming Koprivnica Creek, a right tributary of the Dravinja River. The reservoir has two parts; the lower part of the reservoir is 700 m long with an area of 13,500 m², and the upper part is 300 m long with an area of 2,500 m². Savinja Statistical Region
The Savinja Statistical Region () is a Statistical regions of Slovenia, statistical region in Slovenia. The largest town in the region is Celje. It is named after the Savinja River. Zreče
Zreče (; ) is a town in northeast Slovenia and is the seat of the Municipality of Zreče. It lies on the slopes of Pohorje in the upper valley of the Dravinja River. Dravinja
The Dravinja (, ) is the largest tributary of the Drava River in Slovenia. It is long. Its source is on the Pohorje Massif southwest of Mount Rogla about 1,150 m above sea level. The river passes Zreče, the town of Slovenske Konjice, the ruins of the fort at Zbelovo, Poljčane, Makole, Štatenberg Castle, Majšperk, and Videm pri Ptuju, where it merges with the Drava. Its main tributary is the Polskava River. The Dravinja is the best-preserved lowland river in Slovenia and has been protected as part of the European Natura 2000 network.
